The Three Potters and the Order of the Dragon

The Three Potters and The Order of the DragonAnnounced on April 1, 2014
I met J. K. Rowling at a writer’s conference last year. She actually took my free eBook. I pitched her an idea for a new series about Potter’s three kids. Well, I didn’t think anything of it until she called three months ago and asked me to coauthor her new series with her.

The series will be titled “The Three Potters”. It will be a story about James, Albus, and Lily Potter. Harry and Ginny’s three children. Lily is the main character with her brothers James and Albus being the next two main characters. There are so many side characters, though, it is hard to keep them straight.

Something suspicious is occurring at Hogwarts. A first year disappears the second week, leaving Hogwarts in turmoil. A secret group of Slytherins is meeting in the Room of Requirement. Maximus, Hagrid’s son, claims that he saw Scorpius Malfoy sneaking out of the Room of Requirement. James, Albus, and Lily take turns following Scorpius Malfoy, assuming he is the leader of this secret society.

James is certain that Voldemort is returning. Perhaps his father hadn’t completely eradicated the evil wizard. But what they find is not Voldemort. It is far worse. And Scorpius Malfoy is right in the middle of it. Only, he isn’t the leader. He is about to be sacrificed to a dragon, and not by choice.

What inspired me to publish a novel?

I enjoy writing. I love imagining and getting my imagination on paper. I was, however, not writing much until a little more than a year ago. In June-ish of 2012, I wanted to read a book I would love. I had just finished Jim Butcher’s latest book, so I started reading different Urban Fantasy books […]
