Kendra

Being seven years younger than the next older sibling, Kendra often jokes, “I am the seventh and only child.”

Fire Light: Kendra turns sixteen. She doesn’t think much beyond school, drillteam, and boys, particularly, Jake. The Trinity of Mind changes her forever.

Breaking Gass: Kendra struggles with freezeing up due to fear. Her spirit is captured by Voodoo witches.

Torched Heart: Kendra must overcome her fear. Kendra finds out something awbout Jake’s past that makes her love him more, but hurts Alexis. When Alexis is taken, Kendra rushes with Jake to rescue her, but ends up in danger herself. If she freezes, she dies. She must face and overcome her fears.

Jake

Star running back. He has the rare Bombay blood type, due to his parentage.

Jake burns off fifty pounds of muscle, most of his skin, which stays looking hideous. After his skin grew back, there is very little healing progress.

Fire Light: Jake is shot. Finds out he can use magic. Then blows up a monster with a magic missile. The Trinity of Mind changes him forever.

Breaking Glass: Deals with low self-esteem due to his hidous skin. He is once again changed forever when Eldra helps him defeat the voodoo witches.

Torched Heart: Jake overcomes his self-esteem issues, mostly, and learns to deal with Eldra’s “gift,” but nearly loses himself.

Alexis

The impossible daugher of a druid man and dhampir woman (Neither female vampires or dhampirs can carry children, so how did her dhampir mother do it?)

Fire Light: Sent by the Vampire King to pay a favor debt to Caradoc Rhys. Encounters Jake instead. Can he help her escape her grandfather, the Vampire King and her past? The Trinity of Mind changes her forever.

Breaking Glass: Alexis struggles with a decision of escaping her past, or embracing it. Her dislike for Kendra is changed by Kendra’s kindness.

Torched Heart: Jake rejects Alexis, and she spirals and make mistakes. Vampire politics catch up to her and she is taken by Master King’s minions. She nearly despairs until Jake and Kendra save her, both physically and emotionally.
