Unification Undone

I move much closer each time that I see
The essence pure with greatness understood
Perfection pumps throughout her veins, her blood
Her strength continues to triumph over me
It takes me captive then it sets me free
To mix like water with dirt, we turn to mud
Such joining forces two to bond in one
A union God alone can cause to be.
So eas’ly broken, dried by burning sun,
The water goes; the mud turns callous, crust
The vapor rises, leaving through the sky,
To nature’s giv’n the fault of separation,
The crust that once was mud now breaks to dust
The broken dust is left to wonder why.
