Ode to Pinball

Bouncing, bouncing, here and there
Rolling, rolling, everywhere
Rubber stoppers, paddles slap
Rising rails whirling round
Silent slither ending in sound
Dropping, popping, bopping, banging
Chiming, chinging, clapping, clanging
Slapping hands, buttons bop
Hope the steel with never stop
Spinning, spinning, round and round
bouncing balls up and down
A rolling stop. –Click, smack
The ball reflects right back
And now is lost.
