Utah Football 2013: Utah 70 – 7 Weber State

For those who don’t know, Weber State is a Utah university about an hour north of Utah. In a season where some of the lower division colleges have knocked off some of the major conferences teams, Utah made a statement that they would be having none of that.

Travis Wilson passed for 241 yards. He lead his team to a 49 – 0 first half lead. I am not sure if the quarterback entered the game in the second half.

Dropping 70 points is not something easily done, even against a lower division team. This is a statement that the Utah offense is clicking and healthy. Of course, they weren’t facing a tough PAC-12 team, but after seeing this game, the PAC-12 has to take notice.

Football matters in Utah.
